This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Advice4Homeownership.com (“A4H,” operated by Strategies 4WARD LLC) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact information you give us directly — for example, your name, email, and phone number when you sign in at an Open House, submit an inquiry through an ad/lead-capture unit, or download an ebook.
- Information about the property or professional you’re inquiring about — for example, which listing, agent, or loan officer’s content you engaged with.
- Usage and device information collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies — such as pages viewed, browser type, and approximate location. See our Cookie & Advertising Disclosure page for the full list of cookies and how to control them.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and connect you with the specific agent, loan officer, or professional whose content or listing you engaged with.
- To send you the homeownership content, market updates, or event follow-ups you signed up for.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site.
- To serve advertising, including through Google AdSense (see Cookie & Advertising Disclosure).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share it in these limited ways:
- With the specific agent, loan officer, or professional tied to the form, listing, or content you engaged with — connecting you with them is the entire point of that form, and it’s how we make a lead-capture form meaningful rather than a black hole.
- With service providers who help us run the site and send communications on our behalf — currently including Studio4Agents (the platform that powers this site’s agent tools and routes lead-capture form submissions to the right professional), our transactional email provider, and our website hosting provider — under confidentiality obligations, and only to provide their service to us.
- With Google, through Google AdSense, for ad delivery and measurement — Google may use cookies and similar technology as described in Google’s own policies. See the Cookie & Advertising Disclosure page for the link to Google’s disclosures and your opt-out options.
- If required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of A4H, our users, or others.
Your choices and rights
- Communications: if a professional you’ve contacted through the site emails you, that email comes directly from them; if we ever email you directly, that message will include a way to opt out, and you can also contact us directly at any time to be removed.
- Cookies: you can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalized advertising through Google’s Ad Settings and the industry opt-out tools listed on the Cookie & Advertising Disclosure page.
- California residents: you have the right to know what personal information we’ve collected about you, request deletion of it, and opt out of the “sale or sharing” of your personal information (which, under California’s CPRA, can include data used for cross-context behavioral advertising like AdSense). To exercise these rights, contact us at scott@hamiltonrealtygroupnc.com. We do not currently distinguish minors’ data for a “right to opt-in” flow because this site is not directed at children — see below.
- Residents of other states with their own privacy laws (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others) have similar rights — contact us and we’ll honor applicable requests.
Children’s privacy
A4H is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention & security
We retain lead and contact information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill the purpose it was collected for (connecting you with the relevant professional, sending requested updates) or as required by law, and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
